4th of July Backyard Dinner

Our backyard is our favorite place to spend our evenings. After the sun is starting to set, there is a light ocean breeze – it finally feels cool enough to relax in our warm hot Florida sun. We love entertaing friends and family and also love having our own little shindigs in the backyard with just the 5 of us. We were in need of new place settings – as the ones we have been using are still left from our wedding 8 years ago. I still love them – and will probably keep them forever..but we were due for something fun and new. Mackenzie-Childs has the prettiest and most elegant dinnerware, serving pieces, flatware, etc.  Makenzie-Childs is colorful, handmade ceramics, enamelware, glassware, furniture, and home accessories in several different collections. For our summerware I went with the Sweet Briar collection due to it being neutral and perfect for year round and a mix of the Royal Check. I loved the Royal Check to give our Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day activities a patriotic feel.
