So I have seen the sparkly keys 10000 times on pinterest, and everytime I would say “Awe, I want my keys to look like that!!” So I did it, and this is how….
Label your keys so you don’t forget what goes to what. Although, I mixed mine up so I will have to test them all to figure out what they belong to..go figure!
I painted a base coat on the keys just to give them extra stick for the modge podge!!!
I then painted a small coat of Mod Podge over the key where I wanted the glitter to stick
I dipped both sides of key where I had put the Mod Podge into the glitter.
I then did a second coat of Mod Podge and re dipped the into the glitter after the first coat had dried for about an hour.
After the second coat dried for about 2 or 3 hours I painted a clear coat of top nail polish to seal in the glitter and add shine. Almost like a shellac over it. I learned the hard way, do NOT use your good top coat nail polish..mine is now full of glitter and I have to go buy a new one!

Your keys look great. How have they held up?
I'm actually shocked!! They haven't flaked off at all! I put a super thick coat of nail polish over them but they look just like they did when I first did them, and I get compliments all the time, haha.
