How To: Buy Small Gifts Essentially Free

in Style on 10/12/19

This post is sponsored by Ibotta. I only work with brands that I love and all opinions are 100% my own!

The Holidays are truly amazing. It is time spent with family and friends. Delicious food. For us, celebrating the birth of Jesus. Time off of work. Baking. Cozy fires. Etc. Ya’ll know!

But, the holidays are also, money, money, and more money. I feel like no matter who you are – you always feel spread thin when it comes to money at Christmas. With the gifts, the grocery shopping to entertain, bake and cook, donations and charities. And then there are more gifts, more gifts for the kids, family members, teachers, service providers, etc. It can become a very stressful time. But – I have a little tip to save on ALL of those purchases to help cover some of the ‘extra things.’ It is called the Ibotta App.

Okay, what is Ibotta? Ibotta is a free app created here in the United States in Colorado! You can shop your favorite retailers through the app – such as, Amazon, Walmart.com, Target.com, Gap.com, Kohls.com, Macys.com etc. (You can check the app for full list or retailers, as some expire and new ones are added. There are hundreds!) But, if you do all of your major Christmas shopping – groceries, gifts for the kids, or hubby through the app. You will earn cash back to use on other gifts such as the kids teacher’s gifts or even treat your mailman, I mean – he comes by your house every single day except Sunday!

Their promotional offers change daily/weekly but some of my favorite ones I took advantage of were the 10% cash back on Amazon, and .75 back for every Uber ride I took. If you are using the app for your daily purchases – you will be shocked how quickly it adds up!! An extra $20 here and $50 there add up to mark anyone and everyone off of your gift list!

Let me know if you like it – we even have Publix on our list where we live so that I can get money back on the groceries I already HAVE to buy!
