Maxi-Cosi Lila Stroller

Our family has had our fair share of strollers over the years between all three kiddos- and we have had them of all price ranges. The new Maxi-Cosi Lila lands right at the moderate price point but does not fit into the moderate review when it comes to strollers. This stroller has so much versatility, options, and accessories. While we currently have the single – The Maxi-Cosi Lila Modular Stroller is easily converted to a double by adding an infant car seat or a second seat (sold separately).

So, what makes the Maxi-Cosi Lila Modular the stroller for you? Well, that depends on your priorities in your stroller – but here is what sold me.

First, the overall function of the stroller. The smooth ride wheels, one-hand fold <HUGE PRIORITY, exchangeable view for Charli and quick-carriage conversion were at the top of my list. When we are shopping or running errands and I am constantly passing Charli things to keep her fed, entertained, etc. I like it when she is facing me. But, when we are on a walk, she loves to face out and look at her surroundings and wave to the 50 people we pass going down HWY 3oA. And, if she falls asleep? The seat can be fully reclined giving it a bed/carriage feel, perfect for nap time on the go.

Oh, and an added bonus for summer and younger infants. The Lila has a sunshade of 50+ SPF and your little can be completely enclosed with no sun exposure, again – also great for naps!

As moms, we all know – unloading the stroller after a day of shopping can be, well, a nightmare. Kiddo is fussing because you just locked her up in her car seat and she wants to run and play. She wants all of her toys in her arm’s length that she just had in the stroller, and there is someone waiting on you to unload the stroller, fold it and put it in the car, lock baby in car seat, and buckle yourself up and trying to catch your breath from the chaos that just endured…..with their blinker on. Which brings me to my next HUGE bonus of this stroller. The removable tote underneath. YES, you can just grab the handles and be done unloading in seconds!!!! You will never want a stroller without this now. You can pre-pack it before your outing, and unload it in the comfort of your own home. Literally, just grab the handles and set it in the car! I know, mind-blown – and why has no one thought of this earlier?

Okay, and now for all the little accessories, that are honestly – a really big deal. Bumper bar, child snack tray ((LIFESAVER)), carriage boot cover, parent cup holder, accessory pouch, rain shield,  and car seat adapters. You will never know your love for a cup holder for yourself and your kiddo – until you do not have one that is. These things should come mandatory and standard on every stroller, but they don’t. So, when you find a great stroller that also makes your day to day life so much easier – you will be so appreciative of the ‘little things.’
