Lipstick Heels and a Baby

Organized in 2019

in fay home on 20/01/19

I decided early in the month of January that I wanted to make my 2019 much more simple, in all aspects of my life. Relationships, work, travel, plans, etc. I wanted to only accept things into my life that make me feel more at ease opposed to stressing me out to where I feel like I am running in circles and ultimately, not accomplishing anything the right way or completely….but that is another post for another time. Today, I am giving you some of my favorite pieces I purchased this month to make things in our home easier. So I know where things are and can see things easily, saving stress and time!

Less stuff and more organized is my motto for our home – and I am not done yet, this is a process. I have accomplished all of our most used places but still have a few other places to get to such as my office closet, my office in general, our laundry room, and a few other places. The places I have mastered at this point are our master bath, the kid’s bath, and our kitchen. Below I am sharing the items I used to get these locations under control as well as a few other things I ordered!

  1. These are perfect for the pantry and under bathroom cabinets. Chips, kids snacks, breakfast bars, oatmeal or if in the bathroom – hand towels and wash clothes! Or even products such as hairspray, lotions, etc.

2.  I actually just ordered 4 more packages of these. I had no idea what a difference organizing drawers can make! I have them in all of our kitchen drawers for straws, utensils, toothpicks, etc. In our ‘junk drawer’ for batteries, pens, paperclips, etc. And in our bathrooms for the obvious – toothbrushes, toothpaste, hair ties, etc.

3.  I have two of these, I think that means I have way too much makeup because I also have that gold and white drawer set in our bedroom that I can not find online to save my life! ((I got it at home goods)) But I have one of these on top of that and one on our bathroom countertop.

4. I just ordered this to hang in my closet for quick grabs on jewelry and things that I don’t want out on our dresser. This pack comes with two.

5. So, this seems silly but try it. Hang a hook right inside every bedroom door It becomes a catch-all for coats, belts, backpacks, etc that normally the family would just drop on the floor!

6. I also just ordered this. It drives me NUTS how messy our floorboards get. Now, I know they are always going to be covered in sand – we live at the beach…but blankets, toys, DVDs, etc…I just can’t deal!! So, I ordered these so everything would have its own place in the car!

7. I showed you guys on instastories a few weeks ago what a difference this made – so I ordered 2 more for our other bathroom sinks! Truly a game changer!

8. I have one of these in my LV Neverfull and it not only keeps the inside of your bag cleaner but also makes a place for everything so you can find it so much easier! They have lots of colors too!

9. I am a pen and paper kind of girl. I just enjoy being able to write things out, it helps me to memorize my schedule more as well as helps my productivity because I can not wait to check something off! I also have been writing down each day what place in my house I want to tackle with organizing!!! This planner has a place for EVERYTHING.
