Top 5 Family Friendly Dining Spots on 30A

in fay family, Travel on 27/08/18

Up next in my series of Top 5 on 30A is a highly requested one!! Family friendly resturants! We get it – we have three kids! You need a place for the kids to be loud and get up and move if needed!!! And, we all want good food, especially when you are on vacation! These places are all casual and made for families with kiddos.

The Bay – It is not technically on #30a, but ya’ll it is worth the 5-minute trip north to 331!! Trust me! We always sit where we can either see the ‘bay beach’ or sit at the tables actually on the sand! They have oversized legos, corn hole, fire pits, and many other games! Plus, you can bring balls and toys for the kids to play with and they typically have live music! It’s like a parents haven because you do not have to worry about your kids needing to sit at the table except for when they are eating!!

Bud and Alley’s have several restaurants that are extremely close together! When we have the kids we either eat at Pizza Bar or Taco Bar because the kids can run around, pop in stores, or if they are a little older – even walk to the beach while you wait on your food! Plus – what kids do not love pizza and tacos?

The Hub has corn hole, artificial turf, an enormous tv for sports and movies, and live music! There are several restaurants to choose from so everyone in the family can pick what they want to eat and still eat together in the large covered common area! They also have shopping and ice cream for after dinner!

Airstreams in Seaside are SO convenient for so many reasons! The kids can play while one of the adults order. Everyone can eat something different since they are all right beside each other and they all share picnic tables. Or, you can take it to the lawn and set up your own picnic! Plus, they are great to send the hubs out to if you are staying close by to pick up food to bring home since 90% of it is to-go food anyways! They are all SO GOOD but our favorites are the Meltdown on 30a and Barefoot BBQ.

Cowgirl Kitchen is smaller but it is loud and the food is beyond delicious! Our kids (and Ryan) always get their pizza! It is so good! When we have the kids we always sit outside so they can be even louder, people watch, and walk down to the toy store and look around while we are there waiting on the food. Again, if your kids are older – there is a grassy area before the beach access they could also play in and you can see them from the outside seating. (We don’t let our kids do this yet, they are still too young – but if your kiddos are older, they will be safe!)
