Trend Alert: Pencil Skirts

When it comes to style, throughout fall, winter, spring and even summer; we all know denim is going to be in style every. single. year. – and rightfully so.

It is classic, timeless and not to mention – there is a style for everybody and every body (( ha! see what I did there?)). Disclaimer – I am typing this blog post on the couch and Ryan said I sounded ridiculous because that is what the word everybody was created for but I figured you guys might get a kick out of the entire conversation. All my married peeps I know can totally relate.

Okay. Back on topic.  From jeans, to denim cut off shorts, to denim button down skirts – it gives women and men alike an effortless appeal that we are all looking for.  It is the ultimate #streetstyle everyone aspires of and is inspired by. That being said – there are so many styles, colors, and types of denim.

This fall I am absolutely loving denim pencil skirts.

Pencil skirts are an effortless piece of clothing that can be styled throughout hot and cold weather as well as day to night. During the day I tend to pick a flat, wedge or or casual sandal. At night I pull out the heels and boots. In the summer I wear open toe or sandals and in the winter I wear over the knee boots with super cozy socks underneath to stay warm!
