10 Ways to Wear a Headband

in Style on 13/11/13

Headbands and Turbans are two of my favorite accessories for fall! Partly because they can keep your head and/or ears warm but also because they are super cute and an easy way to take a simple hairstyle to the next level! These are a few of my favorite ways to wear headbands, there are many other ways, but these seem to be my go-to’s!
1.
This look is super easy. Place the headband around your head over all of your hair with the back down lower on your head. This will probably cover all or most of your ears. Take the hair that is hanging on your neck and simply roll over the headband and tuck it. I usually throw in 2 or 3 bobby pins just to make sure it is nice and snug!
2.
This is just the headband placed over all of your hair and down lower on the back of your head. Mine hits around my occipital bone.
3.
First I put the headband around my neck like a necklace and slide up to right below my hairline. I like this look because it tends to accentuate your eyebrows!
4.
This is the same thing as number three, slide the headband up a little higher while still covering your ears (That is key to make your ears not stick out!)
5.
This is great for dirty hair days. Put head band around neck. Put hair in pony tail and slide headband to your desired look.
6.
This is the same as number five except put your hair in a messy top bun instead of pony!
7.
For this braid I put band around my neck first so I wouldn’t mess up the braid as I slipped headband over! Braid hair in a side french braid (I braided in my extensions). Then slide headband to desired place!
8.
This is my hair with extensions down and to one side. I placed the headband low and then tucked some of my shorter pieces around my face up and around headband to add a little extra style to it.
9.
This is a stem off of number either. I just loosely braided my hair and left a lot out of the rubber band to give it a less structural look.
10.
For this look I put my hair half up and secured it with bobby pins. I then took the head band and placed it to cover the bobby pins and right under my hairline.

Wow, what a blog! I mean, you just have so much guts to go ahead and tell it like it is. Youre what blogging needs, an open minded superhero who isnt afraid to tell it like it is. This is definitely something people need to be up on. Good luck in the future, man
