Happy Friday babes! I am so looking forward to this weekend. Why is it that the short weeks always seem to go by the slowest?
Anyways- prepping for the weekend made me think back on my blogger road trip I took with two of my blogger besties, Lauren and Tara. Speaking of which – we will be traveling to Miami and NYC together this year as well so make sure to stay tuned to our adventures and absurd snapchats!
We left HHI in style just as we came in – in our Mercedes GLC that we rented from Sixt for the weekend. We of course had to make multiple pit stops on the way to Atlanta – mostly due to my personal caffeine addiction and small bladder – but we finally made it!
When we arrived we checked into the W Atlanta – Midtown and were absolutely treated above and beyond anything we would have expected. We walked in and were greeted with Redbull shots (non alcoholic) and escorted up to our room which was a gorgeous and two bedroom suite with a kitchen and entire walls of windows overlooking midtown. We then rushed to change clothes and headed to Shops Around Lenox to go shopping. Kitsy Rose PR was so great and set us all up with a store credit to the store of our choice.

We all kind of split up once we got to the shops because we only had an hour before we had to be back to get ready for cocktails at the first floor bar in the hotel and dinner at Establishment. Travel tip: You can get to Establishment through the second floor of the W Atlanta – Midtown without having to go on the street or outside when its dark. It takes you right up to the outdoor patio!! Back to shopping – I decided to go to lululemon because we do not have a location other than an outlet near us. Also, embarrassingly enough, this was also my first purchase from lululemon and I am not hooked! They have a customer for life. The girls in there were fantastic and extremely informative about their brand which I loved.
After shopping we went back to the hotel, changed for cocktails and met the sales director to chat a little more about Midtown, W Atlanta and what events they had going on. We then walked over to Establishment and all I can say is GOAT CHEESE MACARONI PLEASE! Holy cow ya’ll. Tara and I each ordered an appetizer of this stuff and devoured it before the other girls could get more than one bite! I can not even tell ya’ll – you just have to try it! Establishment vibe, food and drinks were beyond. It is a must visit the next time you are in Atlanta!
Once the night was over we got back to our room and found wine, candles, and chocolate covered strawberries for us all to enjoy. Thank you W Atlanta – Midtown!
