Lipstick Heels and a Baby

Radiant Skin

in Beauty, Style on 18/04/16

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Dove, but all my opinions are my own.  #DoveDifference #ShowerAwayDrySkin #DovePartner http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about their New Dove Dry Oil Collection featuring their Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash. When seasons are transitioning it can wreak havoc on your skin and body. This time of year we are going from keeping our skin in hibernation under layers of clothes to bathing suits and baking in the sun. There is no need to let your skin go into panic mode tho. Today I am sharing some tips for keeping your body hydrated and skin soft during times of weather transition.

1. Hydrate. This is a very obvious tip but it is one we go without so often. There have been days when noon rolls around and I realize I have only had one glass of water! I then end up spending all day trying to catch up on my water intake. Instead, set an alarm on your phone to remind you to drink water every hour or so, always keep a water beside you, and make sure to drink a full glass as soon as you wake up.
2. Exfoliate. Get rid of that dead winter skin by using a natural exfoliant. Ridding of dead skin will keep your skin looking radiant and will allow your skin to soak in moisturizers that you apply afterwards.

3. Moisturize. Yet, another obvious tip but I have found that my skin feels and looks so much better when I moisturize more than just with lotion or oils. Softer, smoother skin is something every woman desire, however 1 in 3 women suffer from dry skin and 98% of women feel more confident when their skin is moisturized vs. dry. I start my day off by moisturizing in the shower with Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture body wash. I use the body wash all over in the shower and I love using the Beauty bar on my neck and face area. I love that it is quick, easy and won’t break the bank! The new Dove Dry Oil collection helps nourish and protect skin from dryness in the shower by effectively cleansing without leaving skin feeling dry and features a nourishing formula infused with Moroccan Argan oil beads to gently cleanse while helping to replenish nutrients to the skin.

4. Exercise. Get your blood flowing and release toxins that prevent your skin from having that natural glow. Getting your blood moving through your body allows it to give your skin that subtle pink tone making you look and feel healthier.

5. Relieve Stress. Whether it is taking a nap, watching a movie, getting an extra hour of sleep or like me – shopping. Do what makes you happy. After all, a happy girl is by far the prettiest girl.
