Our summer has been extremely busy and we don’t often get time to just stop life and enjoy each others company. Even our beach days are filled with chasing Braydon up and down the beach and dipping Walker’s toes in the water. Braydon is starting preschool next week and I wanted to take some time to have a little mommy and me date with him before the rush of the school year begins. It is important to me that him and I still have our alone bonding time that we had for so long while Ryan was deployed and before I had Walker. My child is a HUGE lover of anything sweet so I decided to pick us up some Sara Lee® cheese cake and Breyers® ice cream when I went to Publix so we could have ourselves a little picnic outside. The all natural ingredients of Sara Lee gives their frozen desserts a fresh home made taste. We trust Breyers sweet treats because their products are made from cows not treated with artificial hormones.
We set up some towels and enjoyed a gorgeous summer evening on the back deck together. As you can see in the pictures below, Braydon couldn’t wait to be served to try out the ice cream! He followed up with a positive approval of “dats yum!” We talked about dogs, frogs and bugs and enjoyed every bite.
