When it comes to weekends we are always busy. House projects, yard work, dinner dates, events, etc. It feels like we are always on the go. When it comes to long weekends such as Labor Day Weekend – we are actually even worse about trying to pack way too much into the weekend. This Labor Day we have decided to make sure whatever we are doing, we are at home and relaxing. We have a lot of traveling coming up between Ryan and myself and we want to make sure we relax up to the very last second.
Whether it is just Ryan and myself relaxing at home and cooking in the kitchen, having a glass of wine and sneaking bites of dinner early. Or us having another couple over for cheese, dinner, wine, and a game of scrabble – we get competitive – we want to do anything but labor this holiday.
I am a red wine kind of girl – I love it with cheese and crackers, steak, lobster, or even pasta. Ryan and I always rely on JaM Cabernet as our ‘cab of choice’ when entertaining for two reasons.
