Back To School Kids Shopping Made Easy

As a child I remember getting so excited about my ‘back to school’ shopping day with my mom. We would plan an entire day to drive 45 minutes to the largest city near us and shop and eat until our hearts dropped and/or my moms wallet! My brother never wanted to go with us – and rightfully so – I do not think that many young boys love to go shopping – plus – ‘back in the day‘ online shopping was not nearly as popular, or as easy as it is today. Not to mention, there was absolutely no free shipping. 

Just like my brother and most children at that- my little guys are not huge shoppers. We can get through about one store without a tag game breaking out and then it is game over as well as maybe some clothes racked knocked over. Thankfully, Zappos has not only FREE SHIPPING but also world class customer service and more brands and options than any one store could have – remember how I said we can only make it through one store – if that!?

Braydon’s favorite pair of shoes were always his light up ninja turtle shoes. I am all about Braydon exploring his interests and wearing whatever he wants but there are some events and times that it calls for a shoe other than a ninja turtle theme. He helped me pick out his new light up Stride Rite Leepz shoes. These shoes actually caught his eye immediately because of the colors reminding him of his old ninja turtle shoes. He now loves putting them on and Walker enjoys chasing him around trying to ‘catch the lights.’  

Braydon’s first day of school was today and he had such a great time. We decided to celebrate with a cup of ice-cream at our local shop right by the house. And the boys enjoyed a game of catch the lights afterwards!
