Our New Bed

It is hard to believe but Ryan and I have had my same queen sized bed since before we were dating. Let’s just say, as comfortable as that bed was, it was time for an upgrade and a much bigger bed! We did a lot of research before we decided on a bed and mattress. Ryan pretty much left the headboard up to me because he knows at the end of the day I am the only one who really has an opinion on our decor! We decided to go with the 4Sleep Mattress because it uses advanced memory foam that actually pulls the heat away from your body and down through the mattress, it’s layer of gel memory foam keeps you cool but also has the ability to transfer heat back to your body so that you maintain a consistent, optimal sleep temperature range of 87° to 90°. Ya’ll, this is crucial because my husband is like a built in heater!

We also love that it came with a removable (washable) cover that is made with the same type of material as high-performance athletic clothing. The cover’s smooth buttery softness wicks away moisture, is breathable, lightweight, and has “Cooling On Demand” technology that actually has built-in gel to help keep you cool.  The fabric is thin and durable by design, so as to allow increased breathability and cooling. The cover alone is enough for you to love this mattress, especially with young children.

Of course, I had to get new art to go with our new bed– right? I absolutely fell in love with this artist at Minted. I am totally into the square art and white frame trend right now so this went perfectly with the rest of our home!
