Lipstick Heels and a Baby

Sunset Sips and Velvet Shifts

in Style on 26/10/16

A night planned to soak in the sunset – literally. We didn’t realize what an effect the sunset was having on my outfit photos at the time, but that explains the warm glow on all the photos. Pretty sure I was staring directly into the sun! Haha.
One of my best friends, Kelly and I took in the sunset view and sunset sips testing out the new menu at one of my favorite restaurants on 30a. The Vue on 30a! If you are ever in town, it is a must!! So please be sure to check it out. Their lobster mac n’ cheese is a new favorite of mine and their crab cake salad is a classic favorite I have enjoyed for years!
This velvet shift dress is so 70s but yet so easily turned modern. I love the way it feels and you wouldn’t believe the amount of people who came up to me to rub my sleeve or shoulder throughout the night. Velvet is a popular fabric ;). I am loving the blush tone for fall and also loving how I can style it with heels, booties or even over the knee boots. I also loved the way it paired with both black and wine colors so I decided to style it with both!

Dress | Boots | Bag | Choker | Earrings | Lipstick in Whirl with Myth over top!
