Lipstick Heels and a Baby

Yahoo!Beauty

in Beauty, Style on 28/08/14

Happy Thursday everyone! Today I am excited to bring you a new tutorial I have been working on for Yahoo!Beauty.  I still get many questions on how to do the perfect top knot. The most common issue I hear about is the bun looking too small on the top of the head. I have included imagery and a video to help you get your perfect top knot!
Step 1: Place hair in a pony tail at the desired level you want to see your top knot. Mist pony tail with a workable hair spray to give your hair texture and a light hold. I used Fave4 Workable Wear.
Step 2: Split pony tail into two sections.
Step 3. Tease one side of the sections that you split. This is to make your bun look bigger, the more you tease the bigger it will look. Wrap hair around the hair tie hiding the tease and pin with 2-3 bobby pins. Repeat this step on other side.
Step 4: Once hair is secured spray again with your Workable Wear and you are complete.
Use code LHB20 for 20% off your Fave4 Products!

Thank you to Yahoo!Beauty for sponsoring this post!

Thank you for posting this! I'm like the biggest dweeb-o and have been doing these wrong… my whole life. Can't wait to try this! 🙂 It's also extra helpful because your hair is a similar length/color to mine so easy to follow. You rock!
